Description

Ajazz AK820 Wired Mechanical Keyboard – Compact 75% Layout with a Convenient Rotary Knob

The Ajazz AK820 Wired Mechanical Keyboard combines a compact 75% layout with a gasket-mounted structure, hot-swappable switches, and customizable RGB lighting. Designed for gaming, work, and everyday typing, it includes a rotary knob for convenient control and multilayer sound-dampening materials for a more cushioned typing experience. Its detachable USB-C connection and space-saving design make it a practical addition to a modern desktop setup.

The Ajazz AK820 features an 82-key layout that saves desk space while retaining many of the keys needed for everyday productivity and gaming. Its compact design leaves more room for mouse movement without requiring you to switch to a much smaller keyboard layout.

The integrated rotary knob adds convenient control for supported functions, such as volume adjustment or other configurable actions. This combination of compact size and additional control makes the keyboard suitable for gaming desks, study spaces, and workstations.

Gasket-Mounted Structure with Multilayer Sound Dampening

The Ajazz AK820 uses a gasket-mounted construction designed to provide a softer, more cushioned typing feel. Its listed sound-dampening materials include Poron sandwich cotton, a PET sound pad, an IXPE underpad, and bottom foam.

These layers are intended to reduce internal vibration and harsh typing sounds while improving the overall feel of the keyboard. The resulting experience depends on the installed switches, typing technique, and desk surface, but the construction is designed to appeal to users who value a more refined typing sound.

Hot-Swappable PCB for Switch Customization

The Ajazz AK820 supports hot-swappable switches, allowing users to replace compatible switches without soldering. This is useful for keyboard enthusiasts who want to experiment with different typing feels or replace switches when needed.

The supplied specifications list pre-lubed custom linear switches. Linear switches provide a smooth keypress without a distinct tactile bump, making them suitable for users who prefer consistent movement during gaming and typing.

Always check replacement switch compatibility before purchasing switches for your keyboard.

Slotted PCB for a Consistent Typing Feel

The Ajazz AK820 features a slotted PCB design, with the supplied product information describing individual key areas as slotted for improved structural flexibility and typing consistency.

This design complements the gasket-mounted construction and multilayer dampening system. Together, these features are intended to deliver a more controlled and cushioned typing experience across the keyboard.

South-Facing RGB Lighting and Double-Shot PBT Keycaps

The Ajazz AK820 features programmable south-facing RGB LEDs with 20 built-in lighting effects. You can switch between supported effects using the listed Fn + | shortcut, while compatible software provides additional customization options.

The keyboard also comes with OEM-profile double-shot PBT keycaps. PBT is valued for its durability and resistance to the shiny wear that can develop with extended use. The combination of customizable lighting and durable keycaps gives the keyboard a practical design for daily gaming and typing.

Adjustable Typing Angle and Detachable USB-C Cable

The keyboard includes adjustable feet to help you choose a comfortable typing angle. Its detachable wired USB-C connection provides a straightforward setup for compatible computers and makes the cable easier to remove when moving or storing the keyboard.

Because it uses a wired connection, the Ajazz AK820 does not depend on a wireless connection or a rechargeable battery.
