Ajazz MP05 Glass Esports Professional Mousepad

Description

Ajazz MP05 – Stable Construction for Competitive Gaming

The Ajazz MP05 Glass Mousepad is a tempered-glass gaming surface designed for players who want fast, smooth and consistent mouse movement. It combines a micro-etched glass surface, nano coating and non-slip polyurethane base in a 450 × 400 × 4mm format. With a net weight of approximately 1.85kg, the pad also provides a substantial and stable platform for gaming.

Unlike conventional cloth mousepads, the hard glass construction is designed around a very smooth glide while remaining easy to clean and resistant to the gradual surface wear commonly associated with fabric pads.

Micro-Etched Tempered Glass Surface

The main feature of the Ajazz MP05 Glass Mousepad is its tempered-glass surface with a precision micro-etching process.

AJAZZ states that the surface is etched to approximately 2 micrometers, reducing friction and creating a smooth glide for both fast movements and controlled positioning. The surface is also treated with a nano coating, forming part of the pad’s overall low-friction design.

This makes the pad particularly suitable for players who prefer a fast hard surface rather than the softer, more controlled feeling of a traditional cloth pad.

450 × 400 × 4mm Gaming Surface

The pad provides a 400 × 450mm usable surface with 4mm thickness. AJAZZ’s official listing specifies the glass size as 400 × 450 × 4mm, while several retailers write the same dimensions as 450 × 400 × 4mm.

This gives players enough room for broad mouse movements, making the surface particularly useful for low-sensitivity FPS setups.

The 4mm construction also gives the pad a substantial, rigid feel that differs significantly from flexible cloth mousepads.

Nano Coating for Smooth Movement

The surface uses nano coating alongside the micro-etching process. This combination is intended to maintain a smooth, consistent glide across the glass surface.

One practical advantage of a glass surface is maintenance. Unlike cloth, the hard surface does not absorb liquid in the same way and can be wiped clean relatively easily.

A recent user discussion on Reddit also reported that the surface remained non-sticky after extended use and described the glide as consistent, although individual experiences can vary depending on mouse skates and setup.

Stable Polyurethane Base

The underside uses a high-density non-slip polyurethane/silicone rubber-style base designed to keep the pad firmly positioned on the desk. AJAZZ describes the bottom as a fully molded high-density silicone rubber base, while its product specifications identify the bottom material as polyurethane.

The substantial 1.85kg weight also contributes to stability. This is considerably heavier than a conventional cloth mousepad, so the MP05 is designed more as a stationary desktop surface than something you frequently move around.

Designed for Fast and Precise Mouse Control

The micro-etched glass surface is designed to reduce friction, allowing the mouse to move quickly across the pad.

For competitive FPS games, this can be useful for players who frequently make large flicks or broad tracking movements. At the same time, the etched surface is intended to provide consistent sensor tracking rather than simply maximizing glide speed.

The actual feel will still depend on your mouse feet, sensor, DPI and sensitivity settings.

Compatible with Modern Gaming Sensors

The Ajazz MP05 Glass Mousepad is designed to work with modern optical gaming mice. Current listings specifically mention compatibility with high-end sensors such as the PixArt PAW3950, while Chinese product listings reference both PAW3950 and PAW3395.

Therefore, it is a suitable surface for many current gaming mice, although sensor performance can vary between individual mouse models.

Smooth Rounded Edges

The MP05 uses a one-piece glass construction with smooth, rounded edges. Retailer specifications describe the glass as being manufactured using a precision CNC-milling process, contributing to the finished edge treatment.

The rounded edges are useful because your hand or wrist may occasionally rest near the perimeter during extended gaming sessions.

Built for Competitive Gaming

The combination of a rigid glass surface, micro-etched texture, nano coating and stable base makes the MP05 particularly suitable for competitive gaming setups.

It can be especially useful for players who prefer:

• Fast mouse movement
• Large sweeping movements
• Low-sensitivity FPS setups
• Consistent hard-surface glide
• A rigid mousepad rather than cloth
• Easy surface maintenance

The 450 × 400mm-class surface also provides enough room for broad movements without becoming an oversized desk mat.

Ajazz MP05 Specifications

These specifications are based primarily on AJAZZ’s current product information, with retailer listings used to cross-check dimensions, weight, construction and sensor compatibility.

Ajazz MP05 for Low-Sensitivity FPS Gaming

The large hard surface makes the MP05 particularly interesting for players who use lower mouse sensitivity and need more room for arm movement.

Instead of restricting movement to a small area, the 400 × 450mm surface provides enough space for sweeping motions while maintaining the same hard-glass surface throughout.

The very low-friction design can also make the mouse feel significantly faster than it would on a conventional cloth pad. Players moving from cloth should therefore expect a noticeably different glide characteristic.

Easy to Clean and Maintain

Another practical advantage of the glass construction is maintenance.

The hard surface is easier to wipe down than a fabric mousepad, and AJAZZ specifically promotes the MP05’s smooth surface and long-term usability.

The nano-coated, micro-etched surface is also designed to maintain its glide characteristics over regular use rather than gradually developing the friction changes that can occur with some cloth surfaces.

Who Should Buy the Ajazz MP05?

The MP05 is particularly suited to users who want:

• A premium glass gaming surface
• Fast and smooth mouse glide
• A large 400 × 450mm-class surface
• A rigid, non-flexible mousepad
• A stable desk setup
• A surface suited to low-sensitivity FPS gaming
• Easier cleaning compared with fabric pads
• Compatibility with modern optical gaming mice

It may be less suitable for someone who specifically prefers the slower, softer and more cushioned feel of a traditional cloth mousepad.
